In Moonlight Pt.1

"Hellooooo" I hear someone say, the voice is bright and cheery, almost energetic. I groan and rub my head.

"YAY, YOUR AWAKE" the voice says. I open my eyes to see a pair of huge blue eyes staring right at me.

"Gaaahhhh" I yell out, jumping backwards, I'm met with giggling from her.

"hahaha, your funny" she says through her giggles, I moan and roll my eyes. She continues "My names Pinkie Pie, what's yours?"

"Uhm.." I say, thinking "what kind of name is Pinkie Pie". I continue "it's uhhhh...Shainu."

"Nice to meet you, so what are you doing out here" she asks. I look around to see that I'm in the middle of some park, hidden among some bushes.

"I...uhhh" I started. In truth, I had no idea, last I remembered, I had been hiking when a voice said "You won't stop me" then I blacked out.

"I don't think I've ever seen anypony like you before" she continued. Pony? I look at her, she's a pink colored pony with blue eyes as big as saucers and three baloon shaped symbols on her thighs. But what did she mean by a "pony like you". I looked down at myself to see that I was just like her, but I was still black with red stripes running the length of my body in a Zebra-like pattern. My wings were thankfully still there and I flexed them a bit to see that, like Pinkie, I had a symbol on my thigh, it was a triad with a Wolf head on the point, a dragon on the left and a Kitsune head on the right. the paw marks that adorned my shoulders were now in the middle of the triad.

"Cool wings, never seen those kinds of wings on a Pegaesus before" she said.

Uhm..Thanks?" I said.

Suddenly, her eyes grew wide and she took off running. I stared after her blankly.

"She seriously needs counseling or at least less sugar" I said. I wandered out of the bush and looked around, the park was filled with other ponies walking around. All sizes, colors and like me and Pinkie, all had those strange symbols on their thighs. I suddenly felt a bit out of place when I saw one of them with wings that looked more eagle-like in appearance. I tucked my wings as best I could and tried to blend, but it was hard when you pretty much stood out like a sore thumb in the crowds. strangely though, no one seemed to mind my differences and I slowly grew a bit more comfortable and went from a nervous crawl to a natural stride, or trot, whatever it's called. I wandered into the nearby town and looked around, I needed to find something to help me identify where I was, but I was still too nervous to ask anyone. After a bit of searching, and lots of nervousness, there were apparently Ponies here who could use magic and my magic sensing ability put me on high alert every time it was used. I eventually stumbled onto a library built into a tree.

"Thank you" I said aloud to myself and walked up to the door, as I was about to open it, the door swung open, nailing my muzzle. I cursed slightly under my breath and looked up, two ponies were in the door. one was an orange color with a blonde mane and a cowboy hat, the other was purple and had a horn on her head, a magic user. her mane was a dark blueish with purple and pink streaks.

"Oh, geez, I'm sorry, I didn't know you were there" the purple one said.

"It's alright" I said, moving my ha..err..hoof and smiling, at least till my nose started to bleed.

The orange one looked at the puddle of blood and said "sure don't look good ta me"

"No no, I'm fine, honest" I said, but they were already pushing me in to the building, the door closed and the purple one headed over to a closet and started searching through everything.

"hey, Twilight, what you reckon he is, he ain't nopony I've ever seen, his wings ain't right and his markin's are just weird" the orange one said. I just looked down, it was bound to happen at some point, someone questioning me. Twilight walked over with a first aid kit and pulled out some cotton and stuff to help my nose, but my healing ability, which thankfully still worked, had already done it's job.

"I wouldn't know either, Applejack" she said, looking me over as well. She stopped and looked me in the eyes.

"What is your name?" she asked.

"Sh..Shainu" I said, backing away a bit.

"Strange name, and where are you from?" she asked.

"I'd rather not say, it would be.....weird" I said.

"Oh come now, ain't nothin weird ta us" Applejack said.

"What I'd say would be" I said.

"Come on, just tell us, if it makes you feel any better, we won't tell anyone" Twilight said.

"Uhm...Well..." I started, but I was stopped when the door swung open and three others walked through, two were Pegasi and the other was another unicorn. One of the pesasus was a Sky blue in color, her mark was that of a raincloud with a lightning bolt that was colored like a rainbow, as was her mane. The other was a lighter shade of orange than Applejack and her mane was long and pink. She looked very shy and when she saw me looking, she turned away. The unicorn was white with a purple mane that was curled and her symbol was a trio of diamonds.

"Hey Twilight, we were wonder..." The blue one started, but then she noticed me and flew over, landing in front of me.

"Who's this" she asked. I opened my mouth, but Twilight spoke out saying "Rainbow Dash, This is Shainu, we just met him, after I broke his nose" She snickered and then burst out laughing, I just glared.

"I can't believe you broke someones nose" she said through her laughs.

"It was an accident, I wasn't trying" Twilight said defensively.

Rainbow eventually stood up and looked me over, studying everything. She said "well, he isn't like anypony I've met, but the wings are definitely cool" she said. I looked away, smiling slightly.

The other flew up and looked me over, she hovered down and held out a hoof, she said "hi, my name is Fluttershy" I held  up my hoof and she backed away a bit, then reluctantly grabbed hold and shook it before stepping back.

The white one stepped forward and did the same. She said "hello, I'm Rarity" I shook her hoof when she snatched it forward. "Your bracelet is simply divine, you really must let me study it further" she said and I blushed slightly.

"Maybe later" I said and she shrugged and said "fine with me".

Twilight stepped forward and asked "So, what are you three doing here?".

Fluttershy moved forward a bit and said "Pinkie Pie wanted to see us for something".

"What?" Applejack added.

"She didn't say, just that she wanted to see us" Rarity said.

"Ok" Twilight said and they started out the door, she turned and asked "are you coming Shainu?"

"Well...I..."I started, but Rainbow Dash flew behind me and started pushing me to the door. I added "okay, I guess" RD pushed me out the door and Applejack shut it and we started walking through town, it was strangely quiet despite the time and I was growing more and more nervous as time passed. Eventually, we stopped in front of a bakery, the building looked like it was made of a cake. Twilight stepped up to the door and walked in with the others. I stood outside for a bit, looking around, before losing it with suspicion and walking up to the door, I looked inside, but it was pitch black. I pushed the door a bit and it opened, so I walked in, asking "Hello"
